Remarks
Like any other private college, you've got to work hard yourself, without relying on professors, and hence, this college empowers you for that by providing a healthy coding environment. Placements in CS and IT departments are rarely good as per last year's records, and probably the best amongst UPSEE colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course owing to the fact that I was particularly inclined towards technical stuff and was enthusiastic about ML. The student-faculty ratio is roughly around 60:1. Most of the teachers are either Ph.D. holders or pursuing their Ph.D. The exams are conducted at regular intervals, and apart from COVID-19 hampering the conditions, the exams are conducting pretty systematically.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements from the advent of the seventh semester. Various companies like TCS, Adobe, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, etc visit the campus. The average placement is somewhere around 5.5 LPA and for CS and IT departments, the placement percentage is almost 100%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is not much. It's roughly around Rs.1,20,000 every year. Several scholarships for economically weaker sections of the society are available, which are provided by the UP govt as well as the Central govt. The job opportunities are also fairly good.
Campus Life
The annual fest of JSSATEN is titled Zealicon in which tech enthusiasts from almost every college of Delhi NCR region come and actively enjoy it. The college also has a well-furnished and equipped library, coupled with a special IT section. Many societies, both technical and non-technical are operational in the college, that work hard day and night, and leave no stone unturned in building opportunities for the coming generation. The various tech societies include Google DSC, MMIL, Hack NCS, SEED, IEEE, while the non-technical ones include Lingua Franca, Verve, Vyom, Illuminati ,and many more.
