College was good environment for education and facilities bit high with the fees placement has get improved overall good.
Entrance Preview
I took COMEDK entrance exam, after finishing the 2 puc and it is for taking admission for engineering course. I got around 8000 rank in the COMEDK exam. At that present time sapthagiri was good college around my ranking. It was good college, with reputed teachers that time.
Course Curriculum Overview
College comes under Visvesvaraya Technological University course curriculum was same as Visvesvaraya Technological University. But the curriculum was not so good, because when compared technologies there was around 50 years of gap between the college education and company technologies.
Internships Opportunities
No not at all, at that time if we get placed in some company we would have been so happy.
Placement Experience
The placements was ok, they used place few guys and others rest used search outside to get placed mechanical guys it was night mare, never used to get one company for them.
College Events
There was lot of technical events, cultural events going on every year cultural events used to go 2 days many used to participate in the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was very expensive for every COMEDK entry they use take around 1.5 lakh for CET student they used take around 50 thousand for management student they used take 5 to 7 lakh depending on the course,
Fees and Financial Aid
College never used offer any student normal general loans we will provided by banks it depends on the banks and Karnataka government used offer some scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus was like resort full of greenery gender ratio was around 1:1 spacious labs, small grounds, basket ball court, table tennis good playing facilities we had lot of competitions and we had lot of workshops.
Hostel Facilities
I never stayed in hostel friends used to stay and they where charged around 5 thousand per month and food was normally was like north India style they used to say OK.
Alumni/Alumna
We have alumni networks and contacts with senior students it didn't helped me may be it have helped others.
Exam Structure
They follow Visvesvaraya Technological University syllabus. it is almost arranged by Visvesvaraya Technological University it was not hectic during examination period we had frequent gays between the exams.
Faculty
Faculty in our college, where good there was mix of youngsters coming to teaching field and experienced faculty there is lot, for them to learn and they where not so experienced in teaching practical things there were good in teaching curriculum and few where not so good in teaching curriculum.
