Review about "The Oxford College of Engineering"

The college had very good placement opportunities. One of my cousin had graduated from this college and he suggested to join this college. I even heard good things about my college from my seniors. I got the seat in this college through KCET. Based on the rank I got, this was the best college I could choose and hence I joined this college.

I basically loved programming and hence I took this course. The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is very good. Most of them are very supportive and kind. The faculty to student ratio is approximately around 20:80. Term exams are conducted once in 6 months as per university guidelines. Passing the exams is not soo difficult and could be cleared easily if you regularly attend the class and be attentive.

Yes, the college offers internship. The students have to clear the tests and interviews conducted by the companies to be eligible for the internships. Some of the companies like Covance, HP, Micro Focus have provided internship opportunities with an average stipend of 15,000.

The placements are excellent and are improving every year. The students will be eligible for placements either from 6th or 7th semester depending on the company's requirement. Many companies like VMWare, Doppio, Brillio, HP, Infosys, TCS, Covance and others have visited and more than 150 offers have been made this year. Around 45-50 % of students have been placed.

The college hasn't hiked the fees. Normally, the fees would remain the same from the joining year to the year you complete your course. You can apply the scholarships provided by the state government and the college approves it where you can get a scholarship around 20,000. I got placed in Brillio and the college has helped me a lot in getting this job.

The college conducts an annual fest every year in the month of April and also a tech-fest, "Impulse". All the books required will be available most of the times. The classrooms are very good and has all the requirements. The college even has a seminar hall for every single department.
