Me about my college

Good infrastructure, locational advantage, regular classes, friendly behaviour of faculties and lab assistants, modern laboratory equipments, book bank facility in the library, wifi facility throughout campus. These are the good aspects of my college. I got my seat through KCET in the college on 27 September 2018. The admission process was very easy. I choose this college because many of my seniors who studied here suggested I take admission to this college.

I chose Information science Engineering in THE OXFORD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING and admitted through the KCET exam. As I was interested in IT. The teaching method of our faculties is attractive and interesting. They were very keen to give a clear concept of the subjects. They paid attention to almost all the students equally. Yearly two semesters and three internal exams each sem ( All exams are compulsory). The exams were not too difficult to pass if we followed regularly and attentively.

Well, the internships depend on students but This is mandatory to all the student to do an internship minimum of 2 months and every student have to do it. The companies hire you as an intern for internship and a few of them are startups. Also, you can find out about the internship outside the college.

After completion of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is a consistent record of placements from the campus. The placement companies visit regularly to college. Due to rapid globalization in Bangalore city, many startups have been taking place and many companies show interest towards our college students.

The college fees are 78000 and as I have done my admission through KCET under sc quota I only pay 25000 to college and the remaining fees will be adjusted in the scholarship I get. There is a consistent record of placements from the campus.

The annual fest is conducted every year and the tech fest is conducted in the month of September every year. There is a rich collection of books and journals in the library. The classrooms are equipped with audiovisual and all other modern amenities. There is provision to play hockey, football, badminton as outdoor games and carrom and table tennis as indoor games. There are different forums of extracurricular activities like dancing, hackathon, quiz, debate run by students.
