Well talking about my University, we have world class infrastructure with well maintained, CCTV Surveillance system. Very disciplined about student's activity. Mentioning about the academics we have a flexible structure where everything counts in your marking component. For example, a subject named Principal of Marketing, the marking component divides into various aspects. 25 marks carries for Mid semester exam, 30 marks carries for end semesters exam, 25 marks carries for assignment, 10 marks carries for quiz and last 10 marks carries for class participation and group activity. In total the 100 marks for entire one semester is covered for one subjects accordingly this method applies to other subjects. The admission process is quite simple, students are accessed through merits and PI with panel. Course Curriculum Overview
I'm a 2nd Year undergraduate student pursuing Bachelors in Business Marketing (BBM) in Marketing Hons. And we have an amazing faculty student interaction. Faculties are quite good, always help us in any sort of academic and non-academic needs. Students share their future ideas on start-ups and many more. Faculties are highly qualified all of them has completed their PhD. from IIMs, NITs and IITs. As I said earlier marking structure is quite flexible, marks are allocated in various components, and total scores are aggregated in QPI and CQPI format.
Placement Experience
Placement is currently available for PG students, almost all of them get placed. UG students aren't offered any in campus placements may be in the near coming years there will be some placement opportunities for UG students too. Students can try for off-campus placements after completion of their degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each semester cost Rs. 76,000. 50% Course waiver Scholarships are also available for 3 different categories. 1st category for 90% scorers in 12th. 2nd Category for each ST, SC & Minority Category/ Economically Backward Category in the programme. Lastly, 3rd Category of Batch Topper of the programme. Till now there is no campus placements available for the UG students but there is promising Campus placements for PG.
Campus Life
Campus life is serene, it is a lush green & Wi-Fi enabled campus. The classes and library are clean and centrally air conditioned. Library has ample number of books and journals for students, it also has e-library facilities. Talking about the clubs there are numerous activities for students. Clubs like Eco Club, Photography Club, Entrepreneurs Club, SRC Cell, Sports club, Debate & Quiz Club, and so on. Marketing - HR - Finance - Accounts Club for School Specific domain. Xest ( Sports Week) is conducted every year, Xuphoria (UG Fest) is conducted every year during December or January.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are specious. It is non air conditioned and double sharing for each room. Hostel charges doesn't include mess charges. Food and other living cost is incurred around Rs. 5000 per month. Hostel preference is given to non local people people of Bhubaneswar.
Interview Experience
Personal Interview was taken with the Panel. Topics were majority about student's personality. Overall it is a Merit and PI based Provisional selection. After provisional selection document verification is done.
