Remarks

I was allotted to this college as per the Foreign Student Registry, Delhi University based on my merit as well as my interviews. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is undoubtedly one of the best colleges with the best faculty. The teachers here have cooperated from the very first day and have made sure that I being a foreign student from a different board bear no troubles with the text materials and so required.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BMS as it helps in enhancing skills that are required for the proper management of resources in any organization and firm. SGGSCC is again one of the best colleges for BMS in DU. Also, the teachers in this faculty are very helpful.

Course Fees: INR 44200 per year

Placement Experience

As I am a first-year student, I am a long way far from the placement. But the college has many national companies that visit and help in the placement of students. The placement cell is which manages all of this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the BMS programme is Rs. 44000/ year in Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. The infrastructure of the college is the reason why this amount figure is worth it. The buildings are well built along with halls and an auditorium.

The college has many societies with different roles and objectives carried on. There are some which provide marketing knowledge, entrepreneur skills, finance knowledge and so on along with clubs for dancing and singing. You check more on the college website too.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.
