Remarks
College professors are very helpful. They are qualified and make sure that each student understands. The bad aspect about college is that there isn't much support for non-technical societies. In the past societies have found difficulty in getting funding through college. The admission process didn't take many days. It was just a one-day event. They had given us a form for which they charged 1000, which was unnecessary. I didn't have any preference. I accepted the college which was allotted to me. I got introduced to websites like matlab, geeksforgeeks ,sanfoundry etc
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm fond of web development and technology. I wanted to learn more about computer hardware and software.so I chose BTech (IT) 1:30, In classes there about 60 students approximately. For them, there is 1 teacher engaged per subject faculty is qualified and their teaching methods are also fine Term exams have a difference of 2 months and it is difficult to pass
Placement Experience
From fourth year, students are eligible for campus placement provided their backlogs are clear Wipro, THC and there are many other companies. Their offerings have reached up to 25 lakhs The highest package is up to 30 lakhs last year but every average student gets 5 lakhs approximately 75% of students are getting placements
Fees and Financial Aid
College is ridiculously hiking the fees by more than 10% which is just unfair. Even during the Covid situation when students didn't have access to the library, labs, and whole campus, there was a fee hike. I certainly don't qualify for any scholarships but they're students who have scored scholarship through government programs
Campus Life
There is a annual fest but it isn't conducted every year. Mainly it is around February end. There are many tech fests- hecathons which target improving coding skills of students There is book bank where most of the books available but the quantity of books isn't sufficient for all the students. So students get it on first come first serve basis. Different societies in GTBIT excelled in many art forms like drama, music, and Bhangra, and many more Many students have their personal websites
