Gov. Polytechnic Uttarkashi

My college name Gov. Polytechnic Uttarkashi, I join this college because it is nearest to me. No, I have not avil any quota for admission. The admission criteria are very simple you have to appear in an entrance exam and you got admission according to merit. The admission was simple and easy only you have to submit all the necessary documents.

I have chosen this course beacuse I was interested in this. The faculty-student ratio is good enough about 1:50. All the faculties are well educated and government teachers and professors. There are two exams per year midterm and end-term and other practical exams also. The exams are quite difficult to pass.

The name of the companies that visit our Hero, Bajaj offers the job opportunities like junior engg. etc in their companies. There are many projects run by the students in the college for more experience and to perfect their skills.

From 5th sem students are eligible for the campus placement. There are some companies like Hero, Bajaj etc. visit for placement in the college. The highest package is around 60-70 per month and the average is 20 per month. The students get placed are around 50-60%. My plans are to do further studies.

The fees of the college low beacuse it is a government college. As of now, there are many types of scholarships offered by collage-like based on merit and caste also. As the fees are much affordable to all so there is no need for a scholarship.

There are not too many fests organised per year there are few fests like annual function. Yes, the books are always available in the library and journals also. The classes are very good and very quiet. They are many sports facilities for the students like volleyball etc. There are many non-profit clubs run by the student to help others.
