Review on BE in Mechatronics Engineering at The Oxford College of Engineering

The college has many branches to opt for including few courses offered by very few colleges. The addmission process was simple and easy with you being required to provide multiple copies of few required documents with a dd of 25,000 in the name of the college. This is regarding the admission procedure in case you have written CET and chosen the college. They are no criteria for the addmission for any progam as such I know as I was admitted from KCET.

I chose the Mechatronics Course due to its unique combinattion with multiple technologies and its upcoming branch. There is usually one teacher for each subject all well qualified to handle the subject. Exams were conducted once a month and the difficulty level was moderate.

Multiple companies offered internships to students with stipends mostly in the domain of virtual instruments or Software fields. Due to the impact of the pandemic, most of the offers were virtual and mostly being virtual drives.

Students get placement assistance from the end of the 6th semister with brief placement training in the 7th sem. TCS, BOSCH, Square Yards, Paytm, Infosys, Infosoft are some of the companies visited. 4LPA being an average package and highest package going up to 13LPA the most common position offer are system engineer or design engineer.

Fees is fixed for 4 years and there was no hike for the whole academic year i studied. Regarding Scholarships, the college will always support you with providing all the necessary applications and processing it as soon as possible. Any Scholarships applied by the student was processed accordingly by the college. College provided Soft Skill Training, Technical Training and Placement training as part of placement assistance most of the students get placed.

Annually 2 fests would be conducted by the college and will be named uniquely each year. Impulse, Techfest is some we enjoyed college also supports in various other celebrations too. The Central Library provides all the books related to academics the is also an e-library available for students. All basic amenities were available in the respective departments. Students are allowed to play sports and also participate in competitions.
