Remarks
The admission process was quite simple. We filled the form in which we were supposed to provide the details and then we gave an entrance exam. The minimum marks required to apply for this college is 55%. The exam was online because of the covid pandemic. Then after the admission, the fees were paid through an online portal. There was no counselling as such.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have always been interested and the recent covid pandemic has increased the opportunities in this field exponentially. The faculty is very knowledgeable and quite helpful. They are able to give individual attention to the students. We had 2 exams in one semester the mid sem and the end sem. The exams were moderate to semi hard.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides a few internship opportunities and the stipend provided is pretty decent. These internships also provide a very good opportunity to get even better placement opportunities because the internship certificates are pretty valuable.
Placement Experience
The placements start in the last year of college. The placement process is still not very efficient but the university is working on attracting good companies. My plans are to do MTech after finishing my BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college are low as compared to other colleges but it is moderate. There are certain scholarships and certain quotas by which the fees can be negotiated. The jobs are provided by various placement fairs for different schools.
Campus Life
The main annual fests are shauryotsav and abhivyanjana which is conducted in the month of September or October. The library of our university is quite big. Since our classes were all online from the beginning, I couldn't experience the hostel or campus life much. But as have heard from other people, it is pretty good and the environment is basic for studies. Since the hostels have single occupancy, life in the hostel is quite study oriented.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided by the hostel is pretty nice. It has gyms, badminton and various courts, mess and canteens. Again due to online classes I didn't get to experience the hostel life at all but the menu is pretty good as I have heard. The number of hostels is pretty huge so there is generally no shortage of rooms.
