Remarks

The admission to Gautam buddha University was quite smooth. Its website is very informative and the brochure gives a brief about the procedure fees and course. They not only admit u based on 12th marks but also take an entrance exam and after clearing it u get the seat. This provides a fair chance for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for BTech + MTech biotechnology due to my keen interest in biology and medicine. My curriculum has 55+ subject with 2 to 3 vocational language. Our faculty is the main highlight of our course. All the professor are from renowned colleges or courses, some include IITs, NITs, some have done their own research work. They all have 10+ year of experience. Our course has 2 semesters in a year and an exam held after every 1.5 months which is not tough enough to clear or pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is provided by the placement club between year second and fifth, biotechnology based internships are generally research and industrial based internships that offer the role of junior researcher or manager assistant. Few companies of mass recruiter are Wipro, Airtel etc.

Gbu has these abhivayanjana as their annual fest and also an annually major sports tournament that occurs around August to mid-September. Last year due to covid situation it was online and live broadcast on YouTube. It organizes various competition including dramatics photography and etc giving the opportunity to every field to showcase there talent

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here.
