MY VIEWS ON MY COLLEGE

The admission process was very smooth and subtle. All the students were made to sit in the auditorium and were called for counselling according to their ranks in the JEE-Mains paper. After that, the documents were checked and students were given the seats according to their respective choice of preference of the streams in their forms.

The course curriculum is very large. I chose Computer Science because of my interest in the tech world. The faculty members are very helpful and a student can approach them for any of their doubts. The quality of teaching is very great as all the faculty members have done so many projects and researches in their tenure which makes them great. There is also a reviewing method for teaching in which students are asked to rate the faculties on some points on a scale of 1-10. The exams are 3 times per semester at a gap of 1 month, 1.5 months between them respectively and it is seriously difficult to pass the exams.

College also provides various internship opportunities. The students are eligible for internships through college in their 6th semester. Before that, they can get off-campus internships on their skills and qualifications. The companies which offer internships are Wipro, Deloitte and many other. It also includes various startups.

The placement opportunities are vast at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. The students become eligible for placement after completing their 4th year. Various multi companies like Amazon, Adobe, Mahindra, Delloit etc visited the college made a huge number of offers. The highest package uphill now is 35 LPA and the average packages go around 6-7 LPA. More than 80% of students get placement. My plans after getting the degree are to work in Amazon or Google as a Machine Learning expert.

The total fees per semester are Rs 184000 of which Rs 15000 is for development fees and Rs 62000 goes under hostel fees for the students who take hostels. The college also provides scholarships and financial assistance through the various fests held in it and through internships.

Life at the campus is varied exciting and healthy. The college has 2 fests every year: CONVERGE and IMPRESSIONS which are held in January and May respectively. The college also has a vast library which contains all kinds of books required by the students as per their courses. It also has lots of e-books that students can access through their id's. The college also has various sports amenities and also takes part in various inter-college sports competitions. Besides, it has many clubs and societies which are run by students like a literary club, tech club, dance club, singing club, PR club etc.
