I had applied computer science engineering for many colleges like PES, RVCE and ALLIANCE too. And I've got presidency University in Yelahanka, I didn't want to live in hostel then opted for alliance University and got the seat. As I was from kcet, I academic fee was lesser compared to other entrance exams. The admission criteria as followed with the minimum ranking in kcet was 80,000. My kcet rank was 63837. The admission process was neatly managed step by step, where we had to fill admission form firstly. They explained us the fee structure and we paid the fee and received the admission order and fee receipt. Then they showed us the campus tour. The next day was our orientation day.

I always wanted to be technically good and be creative in the software field and chose computer science and engineering, and Alliance gave me a great opportunity. Faculties with their tremendous experience and qualification make the peers get involved into the topic. We tend to concentrate more on the practical aspects. The teaching method is such that they relate every theory thing to the real life practical situation so that we get involved deeply. The exam pattern is such that we have two internals and one sem end examination. There are mini tests, the practical project's in between the internals. And the question paper setting is a bit difficult to pass as the questions are more application wise where we have to use our intellectuality.

I have got less information about the internships offered at the alliance. One of its is boltiot internship offered for ECE and CSE students. And the internships offered by Verzeo for all the branches of engineering.

The placements are quite good. Students from the 6th semester are eligible for the placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, verzeo and many others visited and offers made for software developer. (I don't have much idea about it) the highest package is 10L per annum. My plans are to start a startup.

As I had mentioned before that I was from kcet, my cet fee is 65340/- and college fee is 11000/-. So total it's 75340/- . I'm studying in the same college with less fee where some of my friends are studying in the same college for more fee. But it's worth what we are paying. Students with management seat are receiving scholarships from the college itself whereas we kcet students receive a scholarship from Karnataka Government named karepass. Placements are as far as good at the alliance. My seniors got placed in some good companies.

We have such a mind-blowing infrastructure at Alliance. We can have the natural feel at alliance where you can see green till your eyes moves. Watching green is healthy for the eyes. We have ethnic parties on Ganesh Chaturthi and Onam. They are conducted in the month of August and September. We have such huge library resources and we are connected to an e-library where we can access everything online. We have a great mode of sports, where we have inter and inter collegiate competitions. We the students of the alliance had created much social awareness and clean the nearby villages. We have clubs and associations for departments where students will be leading it.
