Remarks
I applied for jnvu but I don't like the environment of jnvu so I applied for lachoo memorial college. The minimum marks required for admission is 70% in the 12th standard. There was no counselling season before admission. They just release 3 lists based on the percentage of students. The one who had scored above 90 came in the first list and the students with 80-90% in 12th get their name in two lists after that the students with 70-80% get their name in the final list. But some are even those who had scored less than 70% percent marks but get their name.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose bsc as it has great scope and I had a keen interest in it. The faculty of BSc are excellent they all are highly qualified and had had great teaching experience especially all the faculty of chemistry subject are excellent with their work. They are very polite with students as well as other staff members. We have a semester system so we have 6 exams in a year in which 4 are CIA's which are of 10 marks and 2 are main exams of 80 marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
We pay 51000 for a year which includes tuition fees too and 1200 examination fees we have to pay before every semester. Even in their crises, we had to pay 1200 pay examination fees without giving any kind of exam. They provide scholarship pf only 10000 that too for students whose parents don't have any government job. Else they don't provide any scholarship.
Campus Life
No fest is organised on this campus other than a fresher's party that too in college uniform. We had a great library in which all books are available and they can be issued for a month. We have beautiful ground for sports and a separate badminton and basketball court.
