My opinions about my college, CIT

I have taken direct admission in the year 2018 and the admission process was simple. Any 10th passed candidate is eligible for admission in diploma with a minimum passing marks. For clearing any doubt student with their guardian can have a meeting with the faculty members, HOD before admission.

The job opportunities in this field is very high in both govt and private sectors. The relation between faculty members and students is very friendly. The faculty members are well educated and supportive, their teaching skills are outstanding. In this pandemic situation, they are conducting online classes regularly, almost 4-5 hours in a day. They also arrange special classes on Soft Skills to improve our communication in English.

Internships are provided from reputed comapnies like Flipkart, Paytm, and PhonePe. Industrial Visit is done in Kolaghat Thermal Power Plant. For Industrial Training we usually go to a nearby substation. Every year they arrange TECH EXPO for model presentation to improve our technical knowledge.

We are eligible for the campus selection process from 5th semester. Placement facilities are really great in this college, almost 75%-80% of students get a good job offers every year via campus selection. Renowned companies like Kiswok Industry, Nirmal Group, Grupo Antolin, A1 Fence have come. They placed in Bengal as well as in out of Bengal like Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu. I have decided to complete my b.tech from this same college.

As I have taken admission in the year of 2018, I pay 19000/- per semester. There is an availability of schoolerships and financial assistance for the needy candidates. For diploma the highest package job offers were 2.5L/annum and lowest package is 1.5/annum.

The college campus is spread over a large area, full of greens, peaceful, perfect for studying. Well-maintained classrooms and labs. There is a regular cleaning and santizing process. The canteen facility is not so good, it needs immediate improvement. Availability of various course-related books, study materials, previous year question papers in the college library. In this pandemic situation, they arrange a library bus to distribute the semester books among the students by coming to their nearby locations as we are not able to go to college. They conduct many seminars and webinars on current affairs or important topics. Social Events like Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, and Annual Sports. Good security system and transportation is provided under emergency
