The admission process for National institutes through JEE will be well organized. The admission criteria is that the applicant should have qualified for the JEE mains exam. And may get a seat in his/her respective quota. The fee structure will be the same for every student only in the case of the hostels. The tuition fee varies according to the student's family income slabs. i.e 0-1 Lakh , 1-5 Lakhs, above 5 Lakhs. The counseling process will be twice the time. The college campus cannot accommodate more than 80% of the freshers and more than 15% of the 2,3,4th year students in the hostel Hostels are allotted according to the academic performance of the students. And it has hostel seats reserved for different quotas. Says the electrical department is the best on campus. The campus occupies 110 ACs.

There will be a few physical education Teachers who prepare students for higher-level tournaments. Majority of the cases students unitedly learn and practice any skill. College encourages extracurricular activities. Many grand events take place every year on the campus of which only students are the organizers from higher to the lower end. NITRR students formed many well-performing clubs and committees. Nrityam the dance club, Samar the sports wing, Sanjriti the cultural committee, Ecell the entrepreneurs club, etc.

The hostels are good, hygienic, and spacious. The hostel food is a total of Chattisgarh food varieties. Daal and potato curries daily, with one extra curry, Rice and Rotis + some snacks The hostel availability is bad. Only 10 to 15 percentage of the students can get Hostel accommodation. Students have to apply for the hotels through the college's official web portal and the criteria for hostel allocation is academic performance. students stay on rents in areas like Saraswati Nagar, Amanaka, and other private hostels.
