The best college to start your career

The admission process was smooth. The college contacted me 2 weeks after the board results and conducted an interview. I got 94.8% in my 12th grade so I was one of the shortlisted merit students. MOP Vaishnav is a top-tier college so to get admission the student must get atleast 90% in her higher secondary. After conducting the interview the HOD called me the next day and confirmed the admission.

I chose B.Com Corporate Secretaryship as I always wanted to do BCom and I thought C.S was a good course. The teachers in my department are highly experienced and teach very well. Some teachers are really young but extremely talented. But however, the way of conducting online exams was really bad for the first semester as they announced the dates just a week before the exams were going to start and it gave us, students, a lot of stress and pressure. The interactions between teachers and students are sometimes really bad because of the online teaching platform. I think the learning process would be better when we do it live in the college.

After studying in M.O.P the placement possibility is really high. We have campus placements from various reputed brands and companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, HCL, Infosys etc. The packages vary anywhere from 25k-40k. The highest package offered to undergraduate last year was 5,20,000 per annum which is pretty high compared to other women colleges. I plan on getting an MBA after doing this degree but for those who wish to start their career after undergraduate, I think M.O.P Vaishnav will guide you to the right path.

The fee is affordable but I think it's unfair to charge this much when students stay at home, pay for the internet and attend classes. We don't get to experience any of the college facilities like canteen, library etc. This applies to all colleges I guess.

I can't say anything about this as I haven't attended any physical classes till now. But our college is the best in conducting online cultural programs. It was really engaging and new for everyone attending these events. We had amazing chief guests for these events which makes it more special.

There was no formal interview conducted due to the pandemic. They called a bunch of students to a google meet and gave us instructions for proceeding with the admission. The whole process was simple. They asked us to pay the fees the very next day to confirm admission.
