Opportunity -[MIET], Meerut

I had given the UPTU examination which provides me a counseling round that helps me in getting admission. The counseling was done via online mode. Before MIET I have applied for several government colleges for engineering but that requires AIR under 5000 for computer science and engineering and my rank was not that much. So I found MIET a better place than any other college where I can meet my desires regarding learning. And also it is in my budget.

I chose this course because I have a keen interest in technology and yes the faculty that I got in MIET is outstanding. I personally realized that the faculty is more concerned about the study and future of students than students themselves. All the teachers are very helpful and highly educated. They provide cabin classes to those who really need improvement in any of the subjects. Labs are well maintained but the main difficulty that as a student I face is the examination pattern. A student has to give a large number of examinations which sometimes became very hectic and limits the time of self-learning.

Companies like TCS and Wipro along with Google and Amazon provide different internship opportunities and exams on regular basis. College regularly reminds students about various internships. Students according to their interests can make and submit projects.

Placement drive is good in my college as an average of 80% to 90 % of students get placed on an average package of 5 to 10 lakhs per annum. Well, it is up to students that how are they skilled. I actually want to involve in a research program as my main intention is to serve in space stations of India.

In MIET students are provided with government scholarships, no scholarship of college is provided to students. In my view, the cost of courses is not so much, but it is a matter that is different for different persons.

Campus life is so good, various fests are organized at different time intervals. There are many fests including technical and nontechnical, one annual fest of 3 days is also celebrated every year. How due to covid I got only 1 year of enjoyment but campus life is so good. Many clubs and societies are there in which students enhance their skills and many sports events also being organized by the campus. However, there is no freshers party.
