I applied for Counselling. After that, I went to this college and contacted the admission desk. I found it was a very nice experience and the way they explained all the features and provisions provided by this college really attracted me. At the moment I decided to opt for this college in counselling. Yes! The day came. I attended the second day of counselling in Chennai. Even though I found seats in PSG Tech and Kongu Engineering College, I gave the first option to Vellalar College of Engineering and Technology. My parents too suggested that the administration and management of Vellalar College of Engineering and Technology always give importance to women safety and education. My parents told me that they felt very safe and secure if I could be joined here because my sister was doing her master's in Vellalar Arts College for Women. But my parents didn't compel me to join here. Finally, I decided to join here. And I enjoyed a lot of support from my department during the period of study. It was very remarkable.

At the time the course computer science and engineering were emerging. Even though I am from Bio-Maths Tamil medium, I decided to study computer science and engineering. While seeing about faculty-student ratio it was maintained at 20:1. I found there were very well equipped knowledge repositories. Yes, you are right I was talking about faculty qualification. Most of the times I trigger so many questions in my classes. Because I have a habit of studying tomorrow's topic today. Yes, you are right no faculty members ever negotiate to clarify my doubts. The faculty members follow traditional and innovative teaching methods. While talking about the term exams, I had regular monthly class tests which made me remember all the concepts. I didn't struggle in writing the term exams because I always refresh the units periodically. As I belong to the Anna University batch I had a little nervousness about how the questions will be.

The college and department allow the students to undergone internships in various companies. Every year I had gone for implant training in different software companies for a period of 30 days. Yes, the experience was very remarkable and it made me realise what is the expectations of industries from a graduate.

Nearly 80 to 90% of the Students got their offer letters from various companies. The highest package is 6 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. There will be training for aptitude, logical reasoning, technical and those will be started from the 7th semester. Even though those who are given willingness they will have training from external resources arranged by the placement team of our college. Every day they have to attend programming tests arranged in the LMS portal. Every student is having dedicated logins.

My parents paid the fees which were stated by the University for government quota. No capitation fees were collected by the college management before and after joining the course. The college will arrange different sources of scholarship given by state government, central government and other private trusts like Vijayalakshmi trust and many others.

Yes, I had a better and remarkable experience in this college. The library has nearly 13k books, monographs, National and International journals, IEEE Xplore journal access. We have a lot many resources in the library. We have an e-journal accessing laboratory in an underground portion of the library. If we need any sort of technical books we always inform our class advisor and they, in turn, pass the details to the librarian. He will arrange the same soon for the issue. Our classroom is well equipped with a green board, projector with white screen and wifi facility. Our department has a magnum opus association for conducting guest lectures, seminars and workshops on current trends. Every year the association will have a different set of members and they will arrange all the above-said events. Other than this the department is having exclusively two different clubs for improving coding skills and database skills. Yes, the college is having NSS, NCC, YRC, Rotaract clubs.
