Remarks

The admission process over here is quite easy you just have to fill forms at the IPU portal and during choice, fill choose the colleges you want wisely there is almost 7/8 spot round + 2/3 special spot rounds for those who were unable to fill forms during spot rounds After the results of the spot round, then you have to go to college and submit your documents including fees. CSE faculty over here is very good and labs also have all required instruments.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opt for CSE 2nd shift in GTBIT though I was not getting admission in any other ipu college because of my jee rank but I got admission over here because of my Sikh minority quota. Right now due to covid we attending online class it's difficult to understand during online classes but still, teachers are trying to do their best.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship started in the 3rd year in our college. Most of the students are getting company located in Bengaluru and students to go there and complete their interns. Some are startups and some are product-based companies like Microsoft after completing an internship some get PPO. Most students got an internship on the basis of DSA and some got on the basis of Projects they have made.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of our college is good. Students start applying for an internship in their 3rd year and in their 4th year some get PPO and other students started applying for campus placements. Most of the companies visit every year including service based and product based both like Infosys, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Paytm, Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, Oracle, Direct-I etc. Approximate 80% of students get placed in these companies. The average package offered is 3.5-4 LPA by the service-based company and the highest package is 30-32 LPA by companies like Amazon. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in a product based company like Amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not aware of any kind of scholarship provided or not fee structure is simple first you have to pay counseling fees on the IPU portal when you fill for spot rounds and after that, you have to pay college fees which is about 91000 for 1 year.

Campus Life

4

Because of covid, I didn't get a chance to visit the campus but yeah they have called us once for practicals and for books. Labs are good and the library has enough books and is quite a big college have no. Of societies like coding dramatic bhangra and more. Etcetera the dramatic Society of GTBIT has won so many competitions at various levels.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity | Btech cse

Because it's a private uni

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
