I applied to multiple colleges of my choice. My aim was to get the subjects of my choice. For my stream in Guru Tegh bahadur institute of technology, the admission criteria were based on the JEE mains rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was most interested in this computer science. I have always had an interest in this field. The number of students per branch is 180. Our faculty is very well qualified. They try to do their best and making learning a little easy. Since our session started a little late, the whole semester was behind schedule. We had to cover everything up in the 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides multiple internships with projects. Other than that, you can take part in hackathons and other tech competitions to take an internship opportunity with great companies, if your project is extraordinary.
Placement Experience
Our college offers placements in multiple companies. 8th-semester students are eligible for campus placements, but internships can be done since the 4th semester. The average package is 5-6lacs/ annum. Most of the students get placed through college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for computer science and engineering are 91000. The college provides various scholarship opportunities to students who are interested can always apply for scholarships. There are fee hikes every year, which is unjustified.
Campus Life
Our college has it's annual fest named GATES. It is series of events where various societies of the college present themselves and their art, making it a memorable fest. Our classrooms are well structured and labs well equipped.
