Life of student at IIITA

Minimum marks in 12th were 65% for sc/st/PWD and 75 for others. There were no age criteria. But you have min. Two years gap between 12th and college first year. The admission process is smooth. You have to take your documents mention sheet to provide by the college and go to college for admission. I have taken a quota of ST for admission. If you love coding and interested in information technology then this is the best college.

I choose this course BCS the college is known for coding and its IT background. The faculty-student ratio is1:70. Each faculty member has done a PhD and they are very experienced faculty. Every professor always worked on the project of ISRO, DRDO, BARC like big organization. After every two months, there is an exam. And quizzes before sem exams. If you study you will pass the exam. Either if you just attend you will also clear the exam.

In the 6th sem students sit for internship and around 30%+ of students got internships and always good company for internship. The stipend is mostly more than 50k other than perks provided by the company. The projects are important for every student.

In the 3rd year, students got an opportunity for internships. And in starting of 4th-year students sit in placement. The placement is 100%. Every student got a chance to sit in the company. Around 120+ companies come for placement. There is no tension for placement.

Every year fee hikes by 10%. There is a scholarship cell that will provide all the info regarding this. The placement is very much. 100% placement. FAANG COMPANIES mostly come and if study average then you will get atleast 12 LPA.

Tech fest called Aproksha in May month. Spirit sports fest in Feb. Effervescence cultural fest in October. There are clubs for dance, music, arts, sports, and clubs for techy guys also there. The library has mostly all books needed for the study. The classroom has projector speakers whiteboard, proper seats. The sports are not at college but curricular activities are good. The prayers are a group of students who teach children who live in a slum area and in the village.

The rooms are fine. Just first-year student gets new hostel after student got shifted to old hostels. Night canteens facility is there. Washing machines for students to wash their clothes. The food of quality is simply not great. The registration for a hostel is smooth. Every student must stay in a hostel, not in PG.
