Opportunities of the Internship and Placement

The admission to Kingston Educational Institute for B.sc (Hons) in Food and Nutrition is purely based on a merit basis. One needs to pass class 10+2 in the science stream (with compulsory biology subject) from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

Food and Nutrition have always been a topic of my interest, so I want to get in-depth knowledge. The faculty here are extremful helpful and humble. One get any kind of information and help from them whenever required. They help students individually in all subjects and prepare them for a bright future. Both traditional and new learning (E-learning) is followed for the teaching purpose. There are weekly assessments for continuous monitoring of the student's performance. With the proper guidance and academic help, students can easily pass the examination.

There are also many opportunities for the internship. Many reputed hospitals of Kolkata give the opportunities of internship with the stipend to the students. There are also grooming sessions and mock interview are also arranged by the faculties to help the students to get the internship.

Under the placement cell of the Kingston Educational Institute, the students undergo various training programs to enhance the student's skills such as employability skill development, technical and non-technical training sessions, special aptitude, group discussions etc. From the final semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various famous hospitals such as Fortis Healthcare, Woodland Hospital and other companies like Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Suraksha, Frank Ross Pharmacy etc. visited and they provide numerous offers for the students. The companies provide the package according to the companies norms and regulations. Overall a good amount is offered. Above 60% of the students getting placed through the help of these institutions. Personally, I have a dream to get a job in the Hospital Sector.

As per my experience, I have got support both professionally as well as financially from the organisation. There was a lot of scope of growth and opportunity in my tenure. This institute has a well-established training cell. It provides 100% placement assistance to its students at the time of placement.

The college is built in a very eco-friendly atmosphere. It is very spacious and one can find greenery all around. There is a library that is stocked with books on various topics. We have a large seminar hall and separate laboratories for different subjects. The college has the biggest ground for playing football, cricket, badminton and other outdoor games as well.
