Studying at PSIT

I had applied for IITs also had given JEE mains examination. But wasn't able to qualify for IITs. Then I had tried private colleges like Galgotia University ABES College in Noida because of distance I didn't go there then I applied in PSIT for Btech and I directly applied for the course they had an entrance test and then a PI after which I got the admission. The entrance test was to check my knowledge till 12th and the PI was also not very difficult but u should know how to speak confidently.

I have to pursue BTech because of my choice. The faculty is well educated and quite helpful. The teaching method is also good they are like students should know each and every topic related to the subject. Continous tests are also taken. But it's a somewhat hectic schedule. Term exams are regular it is affiliated with AKTU and the exams are tough so u have to study if want to pass.

I haven't done any internship till now from college as it is not the time for it. But college provides internship once. You can also try off campus internships and try summer training programs in college also

From last year 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and college starts training beforehand only in the 5-6th semester. In the 7th semester companies start visiting the campus like Tcs Infosys Capgemini Oracle and many more.. package starts from 2-3 LPA to 8 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is high. If you take training and exams seriously you can get a job easily.

Fees are high, in this covid situation also there is no concession. But they also provide scholarship. And a govt scholarship is also there. Campus selection is also held. Companies also provide a stipend if you get a job.

The annual fest held namely Ignitia which starts in November with sports events and final events are held in February. The library is quite huge with many books available anytime. Sports events also occur and there is a social club Umang which is for poor children they are taught for free.

Hostels provide good facilities, rooms and washroom are good. Mess food is also good, it is hygienic and tasty as well. Hostel fees include laundry and mess fee also. The rooms are quite spacious, boys and girls are separate. One can register for a hostel in starting of the semester and the Hostel here is affordable. But due to covid situation, it is useless and wastage of money.

There was an Aptitude test and then a PI. The aptitude test was based on general knowledge and maths till the 12th. Admission criteria are 65% in class 12th. They also take admission with the UPSEE examination and by counselling.
