I heard about this institute from one of my elder brothers. He is an alumnus of this college. I choose BCA as am crazy about computers and it's instruments. In our time it was direct admission on the basis of H.S. marks. Admission criteria were "Mathematics OR computer related subject in Higher Secondary" I got direct admission on the basis of H.S. marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a fan of Computer that's why I chose this course. In Kingston, most of the faculty members are MCA & M.Tech from reputed University and have research experience too. There were 5 working days. The class timing was 10 a.m. to 4:30 pm.
Internships Opportunities
We got "industrial training" in the final year. Upon which we prepared the report and presented it to our teachers. Upon this report, there were 100 marks that added to the end semester result. My industrial training was upon the .Net MVC framework.
Placement Experience
In Kingston, the placement exam started after the 4th semester. That is in the final year. We got a special aptitude class and a technical class that help us a lot in placement. I am really thankful to our teachers for supporting us during this time.
Fees and Financial Aid
During our time total fees for BCA for 3 years was 1,20,000. Extra 7500 was charged for the uniform. Due to my excellent result in the University semester exam, I got awarded by the college. I got a job in Ogma Tech Lab as a coder in campusing.
Campus Life
Life in Kingston campus was fantastic. There was a big playground on the college campus. Several tournaments were conducted by the college authority. A dedicated student canteen was there where all type of foods was available. In Kingston, there was an annual fest every year during winter. "Basanta Utsav" was celebrated during HOLI.
