CMR university falls close to my place which in bangalore and also my brother is an alumni of this college. He recommended me to study here and helped me with the admission procedure. I filled an online form in which i submitted all the details required. It was my personal details, including my 10+2 marksheets and my transfer certificate. I submitted it along with the application and paid an amount of RS 1000 for the fee. I then got a call from the councillor and gave me all the details of the college. When it comes to NIRF rankings, it ranks to 174 all over India.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had to study, accounts, taxation, financial systems and business economics and many other commerce related topics. I come from a science background but decided to switch to commerce as I found this much more easier compared to science subjects. We had weekly tests which helped me to keep in touch with the topics covered. We had internals and assignments that helped us to perform really well in our external examination.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell which dedicates to help us students to get placed in good companies. It has tie ups with a lot of companies like Hero, Amazon, Apollo Munich, PWC and also in companies like Decathlon, H&M and Tommy hilfiger even. The average package is Rs 2.5 lakhs and the highest being 15 lakhs p.a.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are to be paid in installments. It is broken down into semester wise which makes it easier to pay the amount. The total cost for three years is rs 3,30200 . We have scholarships available which is based on merit, excellence in sports or any other field and also need based. For need based supporting documents is required, i.e the family income.
Campus Life
The campus hosted annual seminars and lectures by prominent alumni members. We also had fresher welcome and convocation ceremonies. Tt=The college has a nice library for us to look for books that help us for further reference. It also hosts an annual event known as Aaviskar. It is a cultural fest which promotes art, dance, and literature.
