My Experience in my College

I chose this college because of my interest in Gelogy course,which is provided by this College.To be honest no other college in Hyderabad provides Bsc Geology course.Coming to studies and faculty our college has very experienced staff who not only teach us with unique methods and examples but also teaches many things besides subject to build ourselves for competitive exams.Admission process is so simple just to apply online with Intermediate percentage and if one is eligible to study a specific course they'll get an admission.Usually students with a percentage of 85+ are very likely to get admissions in different science groups.I my self searched for a college which is providing course I wanted to study so the very first name i saw and heard was Bhavan's New Science College(Affiliated to OU) and I joined in this College,College will never demand a student to pay his/her fee immediately they can even pay their whole year fee at once in the end of the year and few students pay some fee while they join and pays remaining fee in the end of their study i.e in final year. Yes! college won't force or demand students on fee because principal sir is so kind.Also college will also provide fees reimbursement for students who apply for it.That will substract some fee from total fee which will be so helpful for students.College has a good open space with a long corridor inside and outside there will be a ground for NCC,Classrooms are very spacious where each department has their own block with HOD office.It feels like we are living close to nature in campus because of trees and flowering plants allover the premises.Secondly coming to bad aspects they are little less compared to good ones,College water won't be that great so I recommend to carry their own water bottle,also there won't be any canteen facility.Faculty never really force anyone to sit in class where students have that freedom to go out if they get bored of listening class.College won't encourage students to quarrel and fight in the campus besides that faculty help students to clear their misunderstandings,Almost forgot to say it's a coeducational college even though there won't be any restrictions for any student either boy or a girl they can sit where ever they want and study or write any records or assignments nobody will oppose,students have that freedom to build their friendship and interact.Main thing is college has no dress code we can wear whatever we like as there are no restrictions for dressing.College conducts fests and annual days regularly for interaction with students which feels like a family.Once a student gets through first month then no one can stop them from addiction to college,I swear it will be that great.If he/she misses one day they will be so regretful of missing a day.Every afternoon there will be practical classes in which we meet others group students who have related subject in different course in one lab they're unforgetable.Sometimes labs are superfun with faculty and friends we used to enjoy lab sessions.Faculty won't put any pressure on students while practical sessions,It will finish so quick as we get involved.I strongly recommend this college for aspiring students who want to get through their past and learn a new method of study to survive in this competitive world,One can be with so clarity about what to pursue after Bsc,college builds that strength of desicion making.

I chose Bsc in Geology course because it has got a great demand in field of science.whatever it was my dream to study Earthsciences in a good college which is affiliated to a great University and luckily this is the one.Faculty is so friendly and passionate they won't put pressure on students like forcing to listen to class,if a student doesn't want to listen or got bored they'll stop.They provide a good environment for learning.They give us running notes which will help to gain knowledge which is not only for exam purpose but also for future.Faculty in my college has a great experience in teaching and their qualifications are immense like PhD in Geology.Their teaching methods are so different one can easily understand.There won't be any problem in understanding.They use board to explain sameway they also show visuals using projector which goes straight into head for any student,they encourage us to create our own ppts' so that one can learn by their own.Coming to exams college plan internals 2 times in a semester,those internals are so deep that adds a weight age for our Semester exams so they conduct very strict,It can be so easy to qualify the internals but students want their grades high so nobody checks for a qualifying marks they go for highest marks.Each year has two semesters one is in December and the other in May.They are conducted in another examination center which will be alloted by the University.So students prepare by their own and try hard to achieve good Rank and Yes! It's difficult to pass if they don't study.

There are internships for Microbiology students which aren't paid they are just for experience and to learn and get a good experience certificate.They are given few tasks about bacterial structures and formation companies offer them are private which are helping students to gain knowledge since long time.

College offers few campus placements but many of them choose their own way of getting job outside campus,some join by their own after the completion of studies.Most of the companies visited are almost for Arts students they are eligible for campus placement in the last semester of final year that means 6th semester.Being a science student I generally doesn't know what companies offer placements for them but I know about the salary packages for freshers it's about 180000 per annum which is considered as average package whereas the highest will be more than 250000 rupees.About 40%of students who attend campus interview get s a job with good package.My plans are to study Msc after completion of Bsc and sustain my growth in studies.

Cost of study is so familiar to students,fees won't be that high even a students with less income background can pay,Fee to my course was 5350 rupees and 1000 rupees for development fund for Library service and few other,so the total amount would be 6350 rupees per year.Government will provide College a fees reimbursement of 3000 for every students so for me it's 3350 rupees college fees for one year.The duration of the study is 3 years while the fees that we pay will be 10050 rupees.Coming to campus placements there will be many companies offering final year students jobs in advance.The salary will be around 13k-15k per month.Students who are interested will go for an interview.And join the company after completing their studies.

Annual fests like college day and annual day are celebrated every year apart from that seniors conduct freshers day every year for newly joined students to get interacted with seniors.Every year freshers day will be in the month of August and college day will be in the month of Feb.AThe availability of books and journals in the Library is plenty there's an enormous collection of Books in the library,College has a good facility in two floors of Building,each department has sperate block with speakers and closed circuit cameras.Sports have a good priority in our college students play cricket well many indoor games like table tennis,chess,carrom are also available.Our college stood first in Kabaddi many times.Students can participate in NCC and NSS and go for camping too.We had a college official page in Instagram with a name "Bhavansofficial"which is run by students.

No there won't be any Group discussion or personal interview as the admission process is purely based on percentage in Intermediate.I can't tell much because I didn't face it as we don't have this tradition in admission process it's quite simple just getting in to a college is not a big task for students as they are well prepared to study a specific course,our college never conducted any personal interviews for admission but there will be an interaction program with faculty after the admission process.That almost feels like an interview.
