Life of a student at GHRCE

The social life of the campus is best in whole Pune. The annual fest called SINHGAD KARANDAK is famous in whole MAHARASHTRA. Sinhgad Neon is technical fest also very famous . It is conducted in February month every year. The library is very large and you will find all the books here. The class room are very nice . There are many sports competition and all the college from the Pune take part in them .There are 15-20 social , technical group are active in college. You can get very exposure.

I like mechanical engineering that's why I choose it. Faculties keep changing from time to time you will see about 40% permanent faculties and 60% keep on changing their jobs or colleges. Quality teaching is missing they just teach because it's thier job by the way Faculties are mostly very qualified . student ratio is very poor 1:75 .term exams internal exams were done on time not even a day late . Difficulty levels were moderate.you will fail if you don't study at all. Cheating isn't prevalent but some minor people do manage to make their way with cheats

Our college has dedicated entire semester of 6months towards internships. internships in our college is compulsory at either 7th or 8th semester. College doesn't provides with internships. We have to find it on our own.in the case if a student is unable to find any internship than college provides students with internships that too without any stipend or any financial assistance.Most of my college mates about 90% are doing internships without any Stipend. I m an intern at Modern Boilers Pvt Ltd with one of my friend .in my internship program I have worked on projects like studded bed coils/pipes and large chimneys , boiler tubes etc. My job as an intern was supervision of work

Students become eligible for placements at 7th semester. Only It companies come to our college namely HCL, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS. Highest package goes like 4.5LPA and average is around 3LPA. Which same for almost every company besides HCL.they hire you at 2.5Lpa for everyone.Percentage of students getting placed is around 20% for IT background streams like CS,IT, electronics and telecommunication. And for streams like Mechanical Civil Electrical percentage of students getting placed is 2-3%

Fees hike is not there once you get admission in 1st year it is almost same over the course of 4 years. But our juniors have to pay more fees than us.I pay almost 62-65 thousand every year on college fees + you need to fill your scholarship form. Without scholarship the fees goes up 1lakh 20thousand. Name of my scholarship is post matric scholarship for OBC students provided by Maharashtra State government .No financial assistance is provided.Campus placement are worst for Mechanical ,Civil , Electrical.some IT companies do come and recruit if you are from Computer Science background with a good knowledge but even then pay scale is around 2.5-3 lakh per annum

Life at Campus is Fun. lots of friends , canteen is good.Most exciting time for every student is the college festival antaragini which is huge.the biggest college fest in the city .tons of events/prizes and competitions it starts in January and ends at 1st week of February with a celebrity night celebrity like Raftaar, darshan rawal etc are called and lots of dance is done .Library is huge with many books of different variety available. Classrooms are normal whiteboard classrooms with some blackboard classrooms as well. Every Whiteboard classrooms has projectors also. Our college also aces at sports matches and extracurricular activities.Social groups /students groups are also there like SAE, BAJA, SRC, NSS I don't know of any websites as such

No GD/PI was taken .Criteria for admission is that you have to give MHCET exam organised by state government.i prepared for the exam at home. Syllabus is same as 12th examination pattern is MCQ. They give admission based on the score in CET examination . Every college other than national colleges gives admission in the same way.You have to fill a form in governments website enter all the details including MHCET score .than enter your priority of colleges. Then Cap round starts in total 4 Cap round are there in every cap round list.you get a college if you like the college provided by them We have to confirm our admission by choosing freeze option.if not the process goes on till 4 rounds. I got my preferred college in 1st round only because my marks were high. Admission process is very simple there are many people present there to help you out on admission procedure.you have bring all your documents fill out the form and submit it with giving some percentage of your fees
