College with good alumni

The college was well established built in 1962. It has a good alumni base. As it is in my home state so I would have to travel a long distance to reach out. College was ignored by industries due to its remote location otherwise it is a hidden gem. Many companies are realizing it now and they are coming to campus. I wanted to do my undergraduate in CSE and I wasn't getting it at IITs or NITs. I got the branch at MMMUT, so I had no doubt to not join the college. The college had a big green campus, away from the noises of the city, and I was fortunate enough to have good peers who helped me succeed.The counseling procedure consists of online registration, payment of counseling fee, choice filling and locking, allotment of the seat, and reporting at MMMUT for document verification. The form filling process starts in April and the examination is conducted in May. In our times the counseling was done in June and the batch started in July.

Course Curriculum is designed in good way, if you follow is well, and not just to get marks. The faculities are not so good and well ask to focus more on theories which I think happens in most of the colleges. The advantage of CSE branch is that almost all the stuff are online and you can prepare it well without any cost. Faculity to student ratio is very bad 1:50, we can say.

No internship opportunity is available on campus. There are few NGOs in which you can get internship opportunities by asking professors. You can also go for research project under a professor if you are interested in research oriented work.

The placement was good in our times due to many cracking good companies off-campus. About 15 students were placed at very good companies and 100 students were placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, etcThe highest package offered was 39L CTC given by Microsoft, and the average package was around 6L. The student was placed mostly in IT companies. I joined a company as Software Engineer after completion of the course.

Fee Structure is 55000 tution fees and other cost total upto 85000 for non hosteller, and about 1 L for hosteller. There are less chances of fee hike as it is govenment college. Scholarships are provided by state government for financially weak people which is aound 60k. There is no opportunity of campus jobs.

Life at campus is pretty fun. There are many coding clubs and societies that offers you a varied range of experience from Robotics to Rangoli making. Annual tech fest TechKriti is cnducted in odd semester and cultural fest is conducted around April. The college has lot of sport facilities ranging from indoor games to outdoor games. The coding culture in our times was good and offered the student to develop their competitive programming skills.

Group discussion or interviews were not conducted. The admission process was offline in which we were asked questions on Maths, Physics and Chemistry. There were 50 questions each section and 3 hours was the total duration.
