Remarks

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, preferably known as RAIT is the great college to be in. It has the best infrastructure and they take utmost care of health and hygiene. It has a good faculty staff who helps us in whatever way possible. It has a good placement drive which attracts many like me to get the admission out here. It has a great amenities and an overall great atmosphere to chill and make beautiful memories with friends. The best part is the cultural festival and the Horizon which everyone eagerly waits for the whole year to come. It's 3 days of madness where everyone enjoys and dance to the fullest. The college has different extra curricular activities which makes it apart from the traditional college life. It respects every field equally and helps every individual to achieve their dream. All these reasons make this college quite different from others and I had no doubt while choosing this over others and finally after completing my engineering I can now say that I had taken the right choice for sure.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Instrumentation Engineering is the course which is not popular enough yet much diverse in it. My College was having a great faculty staff for this department which helps and guides us in every way possible. It has 10:1 student to faculty ratio which makes it one of a kind. They had a sound knowledge from basics to in depth which they deliver so smoothly that everyone is able to grab them easily.

Internships Opportunities

5

I had opted for 2 internships outside the campus and 1 internship inside the campus. Inhouse campus conducts 2 internships i.e winter internship and summer internship every year for a mony duration. They would give the knowledge right from the scratch and every intership would end with a project in mind. This was really helpful in gaining practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

5

Placement drive is good overall. Almost 60-70% got the placement from college. Mostly IT companies come for the placement drive and they intake handsome count which is good in terms of inhouse placement. Everyone is eligible for placement right from the 7th sem but there shouldn't be any AT/KT and every individual should have minimum 6.75 CGPA for eligibility. Highest package is 15 LPA whereas the average package is 3.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is formidable I must say which is normal like any other engineering college would take. The course is of 4 years and it won't cost more than 4 Lakhs for the complete course. This is the highest fees the college would take which is for the General Category. The college has the reservation policy for other categories as well as those who cannot afford this much. So they have bifurcated quite well in terms of the category. I got placed in TCS with a package of 3.36 Lpa which is quite good for the freshers. Campus placement is good where almost 50-70% students got the placement which is a good%.

Campus Life

5

Life was beautiful both inside as well as outside the campus. Nobody would feel shy/afraid while entering the campus as it was quite a chill mood inside. Infrastructure is the best overall and the best part of the college is the Annual Tech Fest which used to happen in October month for 3 days and Horizon (Annual Fest) which is 3 days of complete madness. Everyone would become proactive before a month of it's arrival and we used to enjoy these 3 days to the fullest. Then there would be sports and extracurricular activities which helped every individual to achieve their dreams.

Admission

It was purely based on Mumbai University eligibility criteria which mainly looks for MHCET score/ JEE score for admission on any B.E course. Our college didn't took any separate exam for the admission. Mumbai University took care of the overall admission process which was a hassle free process.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.
