Entrance Preview

I have been able to get admission in MS University through GUJCAT common entrance exam which is useful to get admission in any of the college in Gujarat.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being graduated from Computer Science, MS University has a good course up to date with the current fair.

College Events

One of the best cultural activities are being held, organised by students. Footprints - a national level tech fest, Paramarsh - tech + cultural events, Prerana - events for special peoples to return something to society , Junun - sports fest. When it comes to extar currciular activities - MS University is awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have completed my 4 yrs of college in less than 30K. After that i guess i don't have to say anything.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees - 3,000 per year. One can opt out if not want to use college hostel facility. In cultural city Baroda, one can find easily PG in less rent compared to other citys. Food is great in Baroda.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Every new juniors are allotted to seniors (a mutual understanding which helps students to collaborate). Seniors passes their wisdom along with the course materials.

Exam Structure

One of the toughest exam structure i have had in my time. Generally colleges keep level exam to somewhat at easy level so that students can score easily and heavily. But in MS university they never thought about this. They have keep their exam level keeping in mind that what a ideal students should be at par. In fact in my time, in one of the subject out of 60 odd students only 20+ students were able to clear that subject. such is the exam structure they have in MS university.

Faculty

Reputed faculty having vast knowledge and experience in the specialized field. Faculties are mastered in their field, having published books, paper, quite friendly with the students and always support - motivate students to do something new.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into.
