Course Curriculum Overview
Reason to choose IT : As my interest was in CS field and I wanted to become a software engineer so I chose this branch.Faculty to student ratio(approx.) - 1:30Faculty - Here the old faculties are well experienced but they lack in knowledge of latest IT trends. As far as academics are concerned, faculty's guidance and lectures are more than enough.Exam pattern- This follows the 8 semester exam pattern with 3 mid-semester exams in each semester.You only have to appear in 2 mid semester exams out of 3. These mid-sems are like unit test which are likely conducted in every two months. Passing in these exams are easy as most of the questions come from the lecture notes. Grading system followed - SGPA/CGPA
Internships Opportunities
College TNP cell is cooperative in this domain and brings quite few opportunities for the same. If not then they easily provide the NOC for other off-campus internships. There in in-house training facilities available as well which will brush up your skills in the latest IT trends like ML, AI, IOT, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements here are above average and mostly the mass recruiters visit the campus such as Infosys, LTI, Accenture, TCS, etc . Also, there are few other recruiters as well which provide few opportunities but pay comparatively higher than mass recruiters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite on the higher end as compared to other government colleges. It could be because of the AC classrooms and co-curricular events.There are various number of scholarships available even for the general category students.So you can get financial level assistance quite easily.
Campus Life
campus life is thrilling and super fun if you have right friends.ykwim! There are quite few occasional fests either cultural or technical ,depending on the club activities. There are several clubs that have diverse field of play so you can be part of any number of them depending on your choices and preferences.
Admission
No, there are no prior interviews for the admission seat as these seats are allotted through state level counselling. The only process to do is to fill the admission form--> then verification of documents is done and finally the fee payment through demand draft id done.
