Remarks
I chose RKGIT for my MBA because it was near my hometown and the fees was affordable. It was recognised by Government of India. I got the specialisation in HR Marketing. I took direct admission in this college as I was fulfilling the criteria of getting 55%.I had to fill a basic form regarding my previous degree. It took 2 days to finally get admission into the college I. E from 07/04/2016 till 09/04/2016.I read about this college from college dunia, college dekho, and siksha website and also the daily newspaper advertisement.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBA in Hr and marketing because of my interest and it's scope.It has wide scope for jobs and coperate sector.There were 46 students in my batch with different faculty member for each subject. Faculty members had done Btech/MBA and Phd. We had small projector in class for interesting study environment. We had assessments to monitor our growth. We had to write 3 internal tests and one final test for each semester.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from second year onwards. They offer internship and full time both kind of jobs.Placements are average and if you study hard and have sellable skills then you can get higher package also. Companies like Jaro, Extramarks, Vedantu come for recruitment. They offer profiles like HR, Marketing executive, procurement executive, Sales executive etc. Highest package offered last year was 12 lpa lowest being 2.4 lpa and average being 3.5 lpa. I joined one of these companies as Sales executive.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is not very expensive with fees being 120000 for MBA and different mess/hostel fee. We could get "UP government scholarship" and different scholarships from coaching centers for pursuing UPSC/bank exams etc. We could get internship opportunities which later became full time offers.Staffing companies, Marketing companies and HR companies came to campus with highest package of 12 lpa and lowest at 2.5lpa.
Campus Life
The social life is good. Hostel life is amazing. You have good friends here. We get exposure of metro city like delhi. We have 3 kinds of fest. Sports, cultural and fete kind of fest organised by MBA faculty and students.We had clubs for literally, public speaking, sports and cultural activities. Clubs like Taxila, Birds, Electraz and Yantricom are famous here.
