Remarks

THIS WAS ONLY COLLEGE I GOT THROUGH JOSAA COUNSELLING GOOD ASPECTS - CLIMATE IS GOOD ,QUITE GOOD PLACEMENT BAD ASPECTS- YOU HAVE TO BE ON YOUR OWN, NO PROPER LECTURERS , NO SPORTS GROUND , NO GYM , HOSTEL IS TOO FAR , PEOPLE FROM OTHER THAN NORTHEAST WILL FACE DIFFICULTIES

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I SELECTED CHEMICAL ENGINEERING BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE BACKE THEN AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO GUIDE ME SO BEFORE YOU YOU FILL UP JOSAA FORMS GATHER ENOUGH INFORMATION . FACULTIES OF COLLEGE ARE NOT THAT GOOD .ALMOST ALL FACULTIES ARE PHD GRATUATES FROM IIT GUWAHTI TEACHING METHOD DEPENDS STUDENT TO STUDENT AND FROM TEACHER TO TEACHER , PERSONALLY I DONT LIKE IT HERE.TERM EXAMS WERE CONDUCTED TIMELY AND NOT SO DIFFICUTL TO PASS

Placement Experience

3.5

COLLEGE PALCEMENTS ARE QUITE GOOD AFETR 6TH SEM YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PALCEMENT CCOMPANIES LIKE TCS, L&T, SAMSUNG ETC. VISITED COLLEGE FOR PLACEMENTS AND STUDENTS WERE PLACED HIGHEST PACKAGE EVER RECORDED WAS 17.5 LAKHS PER ANNUM AND AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 4 LAKHS PER ANNUM

Fee Structure And Facilities

FEE STRUCTURE IS AFFORDABLE FOR OBC AND SC STUDENTS OR GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENTS WHOSE INCOME IS BELOW 1 LAKH PER ANNUM SAME APPLIES FOR OBC ALSOIF ITS ABOVE 5 LAKH FOR GENERAL STUDENTS THEN THERE IS HIKE IN FEES, SCOLARSHIPS ARE VERY RARE SO DON'T EXPECT THAT CAMPUS JOBS ARE GOOD IF YOU ARE UP TO IT

Campus Life

2.5

ATULAYAM(ANNUAL FEST) CONDUCTED IN MONTH OF MARCH FIRST WEEKAND ADDOVEDI(TECH FEST) IN MONTH OF OCTOBER IS ALL GOOD AND A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE. CAMPUS LIFE BIT BORING LIBRARY IS QUITE GOOD WITH WEEKLY MAGAZINES AND JOURNALS .CLASSROOMS NOT UP TO HTE MARK . ONLY OUTDOOR GAMES IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND NO SPORTS NO GROUND . ALL SORTS OF CLUBS ARE THERE BUT NONE ACTIVE .

The course curriculum was good. But it should be better by including more practical and site visits for better learning. The exams were not that much difficult you can pass easily. Exam frequency was also good

The Electrical Engineering course curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering key areas like circuit analysis, electronics, and power systems, which has well-prepared me for real-world applications, although incorporating more hands-on projects and industry insights could further enhance its relevance.

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

The placement are very good here. I have joined recently so yah I don't know much about the highest and average placement of the institute. The highest percentage among all is from mechanical. The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.

Admission:

The college takes in students on the basis of the scores in CAT or GMAT. I got admission in to the college through my CAT score. I secured 88 percentile and then went ahead for the interview round after getting selected. Then I could qualify in the interview round too and got admitted into the college.
