Iradat Hussain Mafat's Review On Ujjain Engineering College - [UEC], Ujjain

First of all my college is a government college which has a great value in Madhya Pradesh and other thing is that the fee structure is very affordable although the college do not had a great placement in recent years so if you thinking to get admission because of placement than please don't think about this college.

In this college there are BE and MTech courses, in BE there are 6 branches that are mechanical, chemical, computer science, elatricals, electronic communication and civil engineering all branches comprises of 60 students whereas civil comprises of 30 students faculties are very experienced but there is a lot of requirement in improvement of infrastructure of the departments maximum faculties have a PHD in there fields although teaching method is old

Yeah I have opted for 2 different internships but they were not provided by the college there are many major and minor projects in the final year but that doesn't make any sense in the practical understanding of the topic because they are taught only for marks

Literally I am very much disappointed by the placement cell of the college there is a very rare case of getting placed in the college although it is a govt college with a good reputation but then also very few number of companies came by companies like TCS(which is a very common company), BORL for chemical department, JK cement etc

As I told before fee structure is very reasonable it may be one of the cheapest engineering college in MP and above that if a student is of reserved category like SC ST or OBC Or minority then he/she will definitely be eligible for scholarship (details can be found on website of national scholarship portal) but i am quite disappointed from the placement cell and campus job that are literally not good

campus of ujjain engineering college is spread in a very large area but in reality very small amount of land is consumed in the college premises there are 3 kinds of events organised annually aayam(fun fest), Xception(organized by CSE department) and Mech Tech meet(organized by mechanical department) nodals events for sports are organized annually in the college for many sport events
