Remarks
So VES is fairly a great college if you are in Mumbai. The degree and the polytechnic college is pretty famous for it's education and extra circular activities. My reason for selecting this college was because it's probably in the top 5 colleges in Mumbai in regards to teaching Bsc. CS and MCA.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to the mark. Some of the subjects taught are part of M.Sc or MCA programs. So if you are planning for further studies CS will help you a lot. Attendance wise the college is very strict, you have to have 75% attendance or your family might be contacted to further discuss your discrepancies at a PTA meeting. Which is held after every Semester.
Placement Experience
So campus placements happen, but maybe two or three companies come in your campus. Campus pool was a big thing, https://job4u.info/ had hosted campus pool by A. P. Shah Institute of Technology. Which had a lot of companies coming in like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Accenture, LTI, Wipro. Every company had a criteria to be eligible that from a average percentage of 50-60%.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is the same you'd get from most colleges which have computer science course. VES do provides students with scholarship who can't afford the fees. There is a criteria tho, to get the scholarship. You need to have a minimum CGPA of 5-7 I think, If I'm not wrong. The department hosts campus placements every year. In our batch only two companies had came to college. Rest all was a campus pool hosted by a college in A. P. Shah Institute of Technology.
Campus Life
The campus is not that big but considering Mumbai colleges, it's fairly okayish. The college does have a play ground for sports. There are many clubs you could take part in from the first year itself. Example, movie club, IT club, etc
