Remarks
Mithibai College is located in the financial hub, Mumbai. That makes it one of the major reasons to take admission in this college. This college is autonomous that is it is a separate body from the University which has its pros and cons. However pros outweigh the cons. It conducts it's exams and admission process independently and not in association with the university. Mithibai College has one of the best faculties and provides lot of opportunities to the students , especially students pursuing theatre, arts and drama.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mithibai College being autonomous has its own curriculum. They include syllabus which is more relevant for the students. They had included more of field visits and presentations in our course(Bcom). More of practical knowledge and presentation skills has helped in personality growth and overall development. Teachers are very helpful and a few are more like friends.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after the third year. We were given a special training before the campus placements for the interviews. And companies like Morgan Stanley had visited the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Mithibai's College fees for different courses differs. For Bcom for all 3 year's total it was around 22000. Since I did and undergraduate course I don't have any idea about scholarships. But considering the infrastructure and faculty of the college I felt the fees is quite economical and affordable.
Campus Life
Life at mithibai is really amazing. There are various fests and clubs where students can take part. This acts as an added benefit for their resume as well as for their overall growth because of the learning that takes place. It's a very big college, amazing infrastructure, classes are spacious and very well ventilated.
Admission
There were no group discussions or interviews or written tests as admission is on the basis of merit for all undergraduate courses. It was based on the 12th percentage. Usually group discussions and interviews are taken for postgraduate courses.
