Remarks

ABS was placed 42nd in the MBA rankings of NIRF & ranked the 2nd best business school in South India. The institute is the first institute of India to get accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), USA. The Institute to Alliance University, Bangalore and has been approved by AICTE m Admissions to the Institute are based on the CAT/NMAT/XAT/MAT exam score, past academic records, followed by essay writing and PI/GD rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

ABS is the flagship B-school of Alliance University and has the best of faculty. Most of the faculty team members hold PhD degrees in their respective fields and share the best of educational content among their students. The course duration of the program is 2 years and includes study about all different fields of management studies. The conduction of exams is trimesterly basis.

Internships Opportunities

4

No, I wasn't able to participate in the internship round due to some health issues. That's why I don't have any individual experience about it. But many of my friends participated in this round and worked with well known firms, which helped them in gaining the best of industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

4.5

350+ recruiters visited our campus for the placement drive of our 2018-20 batch and 43% among them were first time visitors. The highest package offered to our batch was INR 18 LPA,and the average package was INR 7.6 LPA. The famous names present during the drive were Volvo, Axis Bank , Loreal & Aditya Birla.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure of ABS, Bangalore is very similar to that of IIM Lucknow. The total program fee of MBA at ABS is INR 13.5 Lacs and the tuition fee is included within this fee. The institute helped the needful students to avail study loan benefit as per the government norms.Various types of scholarships were offered to the meritorious students as per their academic performances.

Campus Life

5

Campus life of our ABS institute was my favourite part about it. The institute provided a premium campus life experience to its students. Both academic and extracurricular activities were arranged for overall growth of students. The college library had books & journals across different management streams.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Separate hostels for both genders were available at ABS, Bangalore. The environment of hostels was very student friendly and the infrastructure was grand. The rooms were equipped with all basic necessities for students. The hostel mess offered quality food options to its students and the taste of food was above my expectations. The typical south indian taste of the mess food was great.

Admission

Applied candidates were shortlisted on the basis of CAT/NMAT/XAT/MAT exam score and past academic records. The shortlisted candidates were then called for PI/GD and essay writing rounds through which different aspects about the candidate were examined by the judge panel. The final selection was based on the overall performance of the student in all rounds.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
