I chose IAGI Bangalore because it is ranked 13 among the top 100 B-Schools in Karnataka. Also, the excellent placement opportunities provided by the institute attracted my attention. The admission process is done on the basis of CAT marks which follows a group discussion, written test, and a personal interview. Course Curriculum Overview
MBA is a two-year professional, postgraduate course spread over four semesters, is considered to be one of the most prestigious and sought-after degrees in the world because of the value it holds in business and administration. The program helped me develop skills to understand and analyze the Business environment, Decision Making Skills and Problem Solving Skills in a corporate environment, Leadership Skills and Management Skills, etc. My faculty members used to upgrade their skills and knowledge continuously and they also undertook research in their respective fields of study and engage us in their research pursuits.
Placement Experience
My institute has a placement service center that assisted me throughout my placement period and provided us with various training sessions such as Pre-placement Talks, Summer Internships, Industry Interface, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, etc. During my placement, more than 300 companies visited the campus for placement. Some of the top recruiters of IAGI Bangalore are Cognizant, Toyota, Lifecell, HP, IBM, Trident Hyundai, Concentrix, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Mutual Fund, Sharekhan, etc. The highest offer that was given was somewhere around INR 950000.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My MBA program at IAGI cost me a fee of INR 232500 as the one year fee and around INR 460000 for the whole program. The fee was quite feasible in comparison to other colleges in the state. The college was also offering financial assistance along with scholarship provided by government on the basis of need, as financial help.
Campus Life
My campus life here, without a doubt was amazing here! The campus is very clean and spacious and all kinds of facilities are available here and I new observed a dull day at campus. Sports events, Alumni Talk, Health and hygiene, Webinars, Guest lectures, etc are hosted by my college from time to time. The facilities available at campus include a widely stocked Library, highly equipped laboratory, Sports complex, transportation facilities, and more.
Admission
After being shortlisted on the basis of my CAT marks, I was then called for the interview round, the interview lasted for a period of 20 to 30 minutes. I was asked all sorts of questions including general questions, about the program, and questions about my education qualification, work experience if I had any.
