Remarks

The real reason why I joined Amity University for my bachelors was that I didn't score very well in my 12th board so no government university accepted my admission and according to many of my peers, Amity University was one of the best for a private institute. So I applied here through the online application portal of the website by paying Rs.1100 and the application processed was followed by an entrance exam and the PI round which I easily passed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My BBA course from Amity prepared me for future endeavors in business management and provided me with the most practical exposure which is an absolute must. The curriculum pushed me to gain such exposure, but I also had be proactive, and the staff was also very supportive, but at first, I didn't like the professors here because of the strict attendance they marked for being slightly late to the class, but later as I developed close relation with my faculty, I realized that they were trying to make us disciplined. Most of my teachers held PhDs and the rest were pursing them. They were always available for us, even on Saturday and Sunday.

Placement Experience

4.5

Although the fee they charged was quite hefty, but it was all worth the salary package that I'm receiving now! The corporate resource center is a 60-member team that was a great help in preparing me for my career. MNCs and top organizations came to the campus for our placement, among which I got placed in Accenture with a handsome salary package of 10 lakhs and some of my friends even got placed in Capgemini, TCS, Genpact, Deloitte, Cognizant, etc. The highest package during our year was 12 lakhs but this year Amity saw wonders with as it went from 12 lakhs in 2019 to 30 lakhs in 2020.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The overall fee of my program was about 10.30 lakhs in total, which is considerably affordable in comparison to IIMs but it's still quite expensive for many, but thankfully, we weren't required to pay the full fee at ones rather it was divided in 6 installments of 1.7 lakhs per term. The university was also generous in providing financial assistance on need-basis.

Campus Life

4.5

The Noida campus justifies all it's popularity as it provides quite a many facilities such as A/C's in classrooms, education using digital means like attendance checks conducted on Amizone.com, using projectors with the help of presentations prepared by the teachers themselves, a swimming pool and basketball, volleyball and football courts, cafeteria, X- Box live, etc. The campus was quite comfortable and the building had a very good infrastructure. Various events like debates, extempores, Quizzes on all different subjects and covering a broad variety of topics, Drawing, poster making, face painting, dancing, singing and even Pub-g competitions are conducted regularly. Some of the my favorite fests of Amity were Sangathan- sports meet, the famous- AYF, and Annual Cultural Fest- Amity Youth Fest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
