Remarks
I did my BBA from this college itself and I wanted to study further but did not want to look out for other colleges. This is a UGC accrediated college and it was first started in 1968. So being a student of this college, it became much easier for me to get my admission here as the first preference being given to its students. The application fees cost 700 rs for me and I belong to the general category. It is totally based on merit with an average marks of 45% in graduation. The cost to study here also is very cheap because it is a non-profit public higher-education institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to study further because my family told me to do so. There was no MBA graduate from my family, so it was my father's dream that i pursue my masters. I actually wanted to move out from MP and work in Delhi after my graduation. The course is a period of two years and with 6 faculty to guide us throughout the program.We had to make our own notes and the teachers provided us with some additional notes as well. Exams are conducted semester wise which consists of internal as well as externals.
Placement Experience
The college did not provide any placement for my department. After completing my MBA i finally moved to Delhi and i first started my career as a customer support for wipro for the time being, after which i got more exposure and got a job as an HR recruiter in the same company. My salary was 30,000 per month. After studying here, I personally feel that getting a job totally depends on myself irrespective of which college I passed out from . My college was no hi-fi institution but it gave me the best education which helped me to get a good job post.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are very reasonable. It had to be paid through DD. The total cost was 50,000 rupees for 2-years. There were no fees hike as such, and scholarships were available for ST, SC and OBC. There were no such thing as on campus jobs as well, as my college isn't a top college, but it is a good college where I could get my MBA degree and learn about the course. This college is best suited for many students like me, who wish to study an expensive course on a low budget.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure isn't that great, but it has all the basic facilities like a college library, an auditorium for seminars and our college even conducts annual celebrations like teachers's day, Fresher's welcome ceremony. We also have a computer lab, a field to play. It has student union, in which i was a part of it. Being a part of the student union has many advantages. We are placed in chsrge of the college activities that take place and also through student union we can help new students who wish to study here. It also prevents from anti ragging and harresment.
