Remarks

I really fill bad to give a negative mark to college management as because they was good plans over that time but they was fail to apply those on college environment. the college is too specious having library, lab etc and very good if manage in proper way. So many good faculties was there at that time the management was failed to take advantage of those.

College Events

Mostly politics related events was organized was students of the college which was supported by political parties. Management of college was not good, because they have good ideas but they failed to apply them or manage them.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i have never heard about. but i think its available now a days by management and government too.

Campus Life

70:30 was the ratio of guys over gals. yes, debates over extracurricular activity and other social activity was very good. But most of the debated was over political related. there was no religion related issue or economic status type.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. alumni network was most influence in college. They regularly attend college to conduct meeting over social and political issue.

Exam Structure

Fusss! nothing was there! The exam structure was completely dumb!

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
