Remarks
It's a government aided college which makes it one in many. Admission process is through the state level counselling and through the marks secured by the student in IIT-JEE. There are three four rounds in this, you can wait till the last round to make it through by applying again and again. It has a good history of alumni and is an institution that was laid back in 1957. Has great exposure of not only technical studies has management courses to offer from now, along with many new technical branches which are getting introduced from the next academic year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a good interest in physics since my high school years and it was one of the major reasons that dominated my choice of choosing electrical engineering as a specialisation branch. Plus the equipments are very good and updated with faculties which are highly experienced and has a stupendous hold of the concepts to ease us through the course
Placement Experience
The placements are really good for the IT domain specific branches and are also above par when it comes to core branches. College also helps you get through the placements if they are off campus as well. Depending on various companies they have their eligibility criteria to be able to sit for their processes but majorly minimum of 6 Cgpa is required.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since I joined the fees hike has been only moving up and rising to an amount of approximately just over a Lakh for every year and it varies very much for self financed branches which has a few of around 1-5lakh per year. There is great assurance for scholarship as well for reserved categories and state level scholarships for the eligible students and also the placement have been showing a constant increase since I joined which is a great add on
Campus Life
Well there are round about 60 active clubs which keeps everyone on their toes and organise a lot of number of events be it dance, singing, journalism, acting and the list goes onto till NCC which surely is an icing over the cake. The activities are more than enough for our overall development and to keep us in touch with rest. Major societies or clubs include ISTE, raashtray, robotics club, aerospace clubs etc.
