The reputation of the university across the state was the reason why I decided to persue MBA from this institution. Nirma was ranked 44th for MBA & 151st overall by NIRF in its 2020 rankings. It has been accredited by NAAC with Grade''A'' and has also been approved by UGC, AIU and NBA. Admission to the program are based on CAT score, past academic records and performance in PI/GD rounds
Course Curriculum Overview
Nirma University was the first ever university established in Gujarat and my decision to persue my dream MBA program here was the best possible thing. The faculty team of the institute consists of top quality professionals having vast amount of experience in their respective fields. The duration of the program was two years which consisted of a total of 6 terms offering education about different management domains.
Internships Opportunities
No, I was not able to participate in the internship round organised in our campus. That is why I don't possess any personal experience about the round. But, the round saw participation of various companies from different domains and decent offers were provided to the students during the round.
Placement Experience
95% placements were recorded during the 2020 campus placements of our university and i was among those who were placed. IT & marketing were the top domains of the drive with the most number of placement offers.The highest package offered to our 2018-20 MBA batch was INR 16 LPA, while the average package was INR 8 LPA.HDFC, Infosys & Reliance were the top recruiters of the drive.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the institute is similar to other management Institutes of the same kind. The total program fee for MBA at Nirma is INR 10.04 lacs, which included the tuition Fee INR 9.52 lacs within it. The university provided various Merit-based & financial condition based scholarships to the deserving students under some specific eligibility criterias.
Campus Life
Campus life was the best part of our Institute. The environment was surrounded with greenery and infrastructure was modernised. The library was equipped with the best of content in books & journals across management. Different clubs as well as commitiees were also available for the students.
Admission
The institute firstly shortlisted the applied candidates on basis of their performance in CAT exam & previous academic years. The shortlisted candidates were called for the Interview round in which the judge panel examined different aspects about them. The final selection was based on the overall performance in these rounds.
