Remarks
Good reputation and lots of practical and sports activities are held. Overall environment is good. Alot of branches are available to choose from and transportation is also there for different routes from the city. Canteen is big enough for 100 people at a time. Labs are well maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering was the best for my interest and student ratio was not so good as it was 55-60 student in class and faculty was numbered around 10-12, teaching method is basic with hindi, English and Gujarati language in use. Projector and ppt are also common now, gtu gave enough time to study and pass the exam. Just understanding of subject is required.
Internships Opportunities
No internship is available from the college side you can go out and apply for it but do consider asking your faculty and HOD for the permission and for the attendance purpose. Sometimes they won't give you attendance and which is important in this college. Basically It's very poorly managed.
Placement Experience
Placement is not that good but it there depends on the company and branch you belong for mechanical 2.4 -5 lakhs can accommodate through placement but it's not same every year. Need to improve the placement cell for sure. For computer Engineers they have alot of opportunities for getting a placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Every year the semester fees was increased for new comers, I don't know about the stipend but yes for backward classes the fees was very less like 2000/sem. No campus job for student only can get placement after the college completion.
Campus Life
Life in campus is good not so big or not too small, garden area is well maintained but it's to sunny or hot to seat in every place so I will prefer just sit in room or hall. Library is big enough for 50 people and full ac available, there are many activities going through out the sem every year with lots of seminar and group task. Different clubs for different branches are available.
Admission
No only JEE exam is required for the addmission in degree college, no other exam or gd is required in GTU. But the next question is about reviewing the interview which actually don't happen I'm gonna rate 10.
