Remarks

It is government institute. At the time of placement the companies give more priority to the student from government college than the one from the private college and the faculties here are supportive and are well educated i mean most of them are Ph D holder

Course Curriculum Overview

there were 10 faculties for the class of 60 students so student to teacher ration was 6:1. Most of teacher were Ph D holderThere were a mid semester exam every semester followed by an end semester exam. The mid exam was of 25 marks and the ESE Exam was of 70 marks.

No i have not opted for any internship.My final year project was on RESIDENCE TIME DISTRIBUTION IN REACTORS.In this we have studied the behavior of CONSTANT STURRED TANK REACTOR, PLUG FLOW REACTOR. We have varied the different parameter like tracer concentration and flow rate and have studied the effect of ut on RTD OF Reactor

Students from the 3rd year were not aloud to sit in the campus placement Company visited1) royal environment serviceThe percentage of student placed were 40%The CTC was 2.33lacs.The company was in the field of environment assesment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for one semeter is 1500. there are total eight semesters in this course. There is no scholarship for student from open category but for Students from ST SC gets scholarship of around 12000 per semester.Placement % is around 40.

Campus Life

This is college the largest of all the government colleges in KUTCH Gujarat.everyyear different different departments organizes their technical festival AKA Tech-fest. There is anti ragging scout. Every an inter department cricket tournament is held.

Admission

There is no Group discussion, interview for admission it is solely based on rank one gets based on their 12th marks and jee marks the cutoff for chemical engineering was 5000-10000 open.all this governed by the ACPC.

If you have done 12th science or you have done diploma after 10th grade, then you are egligible for the course. cut-off varies year by year but you will get admission here if you have 70% in 12th or in case you have done diploma then 7 CGPA is good enough to get admisison. admission will be done through ACPC website. they will make a chart of seats per college with category wise no. of seats. now they have started entrance test for D2D students. at our time it was based on the STPI of our diploma course....Read More
