Crazy College Life

College management is always respond type in nature. If any need is kept in front of them it is done immediately for the sake of students. Our directors had always foresight for well being of institute.

I wrote Sathyabamasat and got 85 marks. I called for councelling and opted for ece because i love electronics.

The course structure was really helpful. The curriculum contained our core subjects like VLSI, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, Embedded Systems etc. which are very interesting.

During my study few companies visited campus offering internships. Companies like CTS, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Oracle and some start-up companies came and hired internships. Stipend was on average 7000 to 9000 per month.

They are really good. Almost 160+ companies visited during 2015-2016. Total number of students attended was 2034. Out of them 1681 had been placed so far. MNCs like Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Hyundai, Astra Zeneca , Polaris, Prodapt, HCL , Samsung, DELL, Oracle, HP etc.

Fem Fest which will be celebrated five days in the month of feb every year. There are culturals where they call eminent personalities and allows everyone to participate. In addition these, there are seminars, international conferences, certification courses, foreign language classes, technical summits etc.

As compare to other colleges in Chennai fee structure is reasonable for the facilities that are provided by the college.

The college sponsors many students at free of cost education for people who are economically backward and our college is back bone for students who come from agaram foundation which is famous in tamil nadu which was started by actor Suriya. Every topper in department may pay full fee in his/her final year. There is loan facility supported by Indian Bank located in college itself.

Particular departments have very ratio of boys and girls but coming to departments like automobile, mechanical,mech and pro, civil there is megre strength of girl student. There are NCC cadete training, basket ball court for what college is famous, cricket tournaments etc. There are many workshops conducted during academics. Labs are really good where one will be exposed practically.

In Sathyabama University, the food is superb. They provide non-veg including veg all the days except friday. Mess has got variety of dishes. Dishes include chicken, fish, prawns , egg , briyani, sweets, sambar, karakolambu and ice cream.

They are helpful in all times. College even conducts meetings with them to know about the career opportunities. During my placement training there was a mock interview, there alumni students came and conducted the interview.

The exams were co-ordinated in a very convenient manner. One exam and another exam has got sufficient time gap to prepare. Even organizing exams were also done in appreciable manner.

Our college has got excellent faculty there are twelve doctorates in our department, in addition to some faculty are doing their Ph.D s. Every faculty gives individual attention each element.
