Journey of our campus-[GIBS], New Delhi

I appeared for IPU CET conducted by Ip university every year. Admission is on the basis of rank and cut off of every college. We have been given the choice of college in which we desire to take admission. I chose only 4 colleges i.e VIPs, maims, gibs, technia. According to my rank, I was allowed gibs. There are no minimum age criteria. There was no counseling for getting admission.

I always wanted to become a successful businessman that's why I choose this course. There are around 20-25 teachers for all the students of BBA in the college. The faculty members are well qualified and trained. All the faculty members have completed their masters and some of the faculty members have also completed their Ph.D.The methods they use to teach us are completely unique which helps us understand the concepts clearly. The examination takes place after every semester. I find exam papers quite easy, full of choices, and a bit tricky.

There are a no. of companies that offer on-campus internships. Some of the companies that I have heard are times of India, Insplore, UAS International, leading solutions and other renowned firms collaborate with our college. After the completion of the internship, we need to prepare a project work explaining what we have learned from our internship and how was our experience. It is included in our internal assessment.

The students who study in their final year are eligible for campus placement. The companies who visit our college for recruitment are Citi Bank, ICICI bank, finedge, oracle, and many other companies. The highest package the companies offer is 5 Lakhs per annum. 95% of the students get placed under the placement process. I am planning to start my own business after graduation.

The cost of the study is around 3.5 Lakhs for all the 3 years. I think that cost of the study is somewhat high for a student who is economically weak. After a certain period of time, the fees are increased as per the rules. They do not provide any financial assistance or scholarship to students who cannot afford to pay high fees.

Every year two days are kept reserved for fest organized by the college. Zenith is being organized in the month of April or May. There is a huge library which has all the books needed. There are all the amenities in the classroom like proper sitting, clean and hygienic atmosphere, air conditioner, projector, computer rooms, etc. There are only indoor games in the college like table tennis, chess, etc. Also, there are many societies and clubs which students can join according to their interests in art, music, social work, dance, and many others.
