Remarks
I took admission in this college through management quota through direct admission. The minimum mark for admission in B.Tech is 60 percent in class 12th. College took an entrance exam in which general aptitude questions were asked and also some coding questions. After clearing their entrance exam, a personal interview was also taken. The admission process was smoothly conducted thereafter.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Information Technology engineering branch as computer & technology is the present and future. There is a very good number of faculties in the college. Most of them are graduates, postgraduates, or doctrate from IITs, NITs, or top institutes of India. Each faculty is highly skilled and experienced in their field. Notes are made by the faculties which makes it quite easy to pass the term examinations very easily. Class tests and assignments took place every month
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees for CS/IT branch are approximately RS. 1.7 lakhs per year and for others, it is about Rs. 1.4 lakhs per year. There is a tution fee waiver program in PSIT for the students who got a good rank in UPSEE and are not that economically strong. Along with that UP government scholarship program is also here.
Campus Life
Campus life is nice at PSIT. There are many tech events and quiz competitions that take place throughout the year. The annual event of PSIT is IGNITIA. It is a very big two-day event where many sub-events take place. Books are available for every student in the central library. All the classrooms are air-conditioned with projectors installed in them. The sports facility is also good here. College also has NCC for the hostlers.
