College Adda- IBMR IPS Academy Indore

So in 2020 when I decided to take admission into the MBA program. I had targeted 3 good colleges in Central India- (IMS, Prestige, IPS). So I finally took admission into IPS Academy Indore because to take admission into Prestige College one needs to have a CMAT score which at the time of admission I did not have (I did not give CMAT IN 2019). The admission process of IPS Academy Indore is very simple one can get admission into the college through various modes such as CMAT Score or direct admission into the college if one has a good percentage in their grad. So, when I decided to take admission into MBA IB the admission counsellor of the college was very supportive and he cleared all my doubts related to the college and course, If one is planning to take admission in MBA IB into IPS they need to have 50% and above in their graduation and also if they have CMAT score the chances of getting admission increases.

I chose MBA IB because I wanted to study more about how International Business is carried out and what is the procedure and law to get into the International Market. So when I took admission in 2020 I knew somehow that classes are going to be online and will become difficult for everyone to adapt to the system. But thanks to our college and teachers who made our study even more interesting. The student-teacher ratio is good, for every subject which is being taught in the college we have 3-4 teachers and every one of them has good knowledge in their subject not only that almost every teacher has done PhD. Talking about exams so we have to give internals in every subject which includes class participation, quiz, presentation and many more. As we have a semester pattern so at the end of the semester we have to give exams and the questions asked are moderate and if one is well prepared they can easily give answers to it.

Our college helps every student to get a good internship from the companies which visit our college every year. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, S & P Global, Asian Paints & Predigo comes every year with internship opportunities for the student not only that they give PPO to the best performing student. The roles these companies offer are vary depending on the needs of the companies such as Marketing intern, HR Intern, Finance intern, Operation intern or Business Development intern. These companies give stipend as per the industry norms. The outcome of the internship is, students get to know in detail in & out about the company how they work and also prepares them for the corporate world.

The placements in college start from the third semester onwards. The number of compnies which have visited this year is around 100 odd companies like Asian Paints, ICICI, HDFC, Colgate Palmolive, Byjus, Jaro education, S & P global, Kotak Mahindra Bank, No Broker, Future Group, Upgrad, Dmart and many more. Most of the companies which come to our college has fixed package to offer which is between 4-6 lakhs yearly. This year the highest package offered is 12 lakhs and the median is 4.5 lakhs. Every year the college helps 80% of students gets placed into different companies for the different roles and positions. My plan after, I finish my pg is to work with a good organisation like Asian Paints, Byjus or Colgate Palmolive.

The fees structure is very simple and convenient. One can pay the fees in 4 different instalments and can also avail of different scholarships available as per the government norms and conditions. College also assists in getting an internship with good companies like Asian Paints, S & P Global, Predigo and many more students also get a stipend for doing an internship that is as per the industry standard.

The life at the campus is pretty amazing, every year we conduct a college cultural fest "Blossoms and Flames" in the month of March which continues for two days and in this, we do various fun activities to entertain students and teachers. Not only this we also have a humongous library wherein one can find books related to their subject and also various magazines and journals. The classrooms are big enough to accommodate 70+ students, has proper ventilation, water coolers on every floor and equipped with modern technology like a projector. The college has a sports ground for football, cricket, horse riding and also has many Indore game facilities available for students. Every year college conducts Annual Sports and various in campus curricular activities to engage and entertain students. We also have different social group in college like cultural group, music society, drama society, poetry society and also debate society which is run by the students and teachers.
